Brodix Track 1 heads SBC plus extras

I have a nice pair of Brodix Track 1 Aluminum heads for a SBC. I was running them on my 383. These will really wake up your small blcok chevy, especially if you install a nice big cam! In the quest for more speed I have decided to part the 383 out and build a 496 big block. I have the following:

Brodix Track 1 Heads with 2.08/ 1.60 valves no front accessory holes but I talked to a rep at Brodix and they said that they could be drilled but never did. They are fully assembled with dual valve springs and 7/16" screw in studs, guide plates, ready to bolt on with the included $77 ARP head bolt set that have the required 1/2" head. (The 9/16" heads of the stock head bolts will not clear the valve springs.) They also include the special larger port Fel Pro intake gaskets to match the intake ports. They were installed but never torqued down. I also have another set of the same gaskets in the package that I will include. All you would need to run these heads is a good set of MLS (multi layer steel) head gaskets $750

Brodix cast aluminum valve covers with fresh chevy orange paint, new valve cover gaskets and hold down bolts $125

Scorpion 1.6 ratio full roller rockers with poly locks for 7/16" studs $175

Crane Chromoly welded tip push rods $100

All of it for $1000.

I will have some other items as I get the engine pulled, such as a Moroso wide oil pan with matching pump and pick up, head studs and windage tray and possibly an SFI approved balancer and auto flex plate. I will also have a Mechanical roller cam and lifter set as well as a set of LWP ALan Grove power steering brackets with almost new pump and low mount alternator brackets and an aluminum water pump.

I will post photos ASAP
