Quickie tips on replacing rubber bushings....
I have some spare time coming up and want to replace the OEM rubber bushing in the sway bar. After 52 years these are stuck pretty good. I've had the bar and new bushings sitting on the bench for over two years and figured what the heck, 'just do it". I don't have a press, or a touch to melt the rubber but do have a small bench vice.
Well they just don't pop out I can tell you, drilling the rubber is about all I can figure to do until I remove enough until I can beat them out. Any tips from you fine folks on removing and replacing? Jake
