The BCC No Limit build

This should be pretty cool. We had a client from Virginia drop by a few weeks ago and talk about a C10 he was looking at buying. A nice 68 short bed driver. He was out here on the west coast on vacation and found his dream truck, but it needs an attitude adjustment. After some discussion he became very interested in our new C10 items, such as the Wide Ride IFS, and the new 'High rail' rear subframe with a Fat Bar suspension. Add in some big brakes, new wheel/tire combo and he'll have a *****en driver to take back to the east coast.
He dropped the truck off last week, and it is pretty nice. Runs and drives good. It's basically stock chassis, 350/350, has a wood bed floor, P/W, one piece glass, A/C, and a clean OE style interior. We drove it around yesterday a bit to get a feel for it. Really nice, tight, no rattles, very smooth. The thottle is a bit tight. The stock P/S leaves a lot to be desired, but it is really easy to steer, like too easy. Last night we took it over to AMP, our local track to see what it's performance level is. This would be a change to get a baseline number for a pretty normal C10. It was a handfull. The stock IFS feels like it shifts to positive camber in a hard turn - not to inspiring. The throttle response made corner exit a bit difficult, as did the one legger rear axle. Best lap, a 57.24. for comparison, the JT runs in the 50's most nights, and has run a couple of 49's. Silver Bullit runs high 45's, and the HellBoy runs mid 44's (the track record is 43.28)
I'll get some picts up soon, like monday. Have a Happy ThanksGiving
