My dad has been working on the peterpilt pickup idea for about 20years That is about the time he channeled the cab The cab is a early to mid 40s with the vents on the cowl and is narrower than the next generation.The radatior shell is steel so it will be easy to modifyinto a core support.He had a piece of 10 guage bent up to make longer sides so the shell will look taller and cover the front of the frame. The front axle is that he will use is a 5" drop out of a1ton GMC bread truck. The front fenders will be the flat radiused off highway style. I am glad He is getting going on it for 2 reasons it is cool! And I will get my axles and other parts for my 72 project |
