Restoring a wood steering wheel
OK,
I got the 67 SS Chevelle wheel done. Link: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=552838 Now I'm wanting to do a 2 prong wood wheel. Has anybody ever redone one, if so what did you use to fill the cracks with. Wood putty, what any info is welcome cause I don't know anything about doing this. Been searching the net tonight trying to find info. I have a good friend who has it and said he would like for me to redo it after seeing the 67 Chevelle wheel. I told him I would try and findout what was envolved before I commit to it. He is building a custom 68 with 55 dash in it.
