I used one of those magic eraser sponges to shine my grill. Worked well!

You've probably seen the ads for these. Mister Clean makes one, Scotch Brite makes one, and there are others. Anyway, I just got it wet and scrubbed with the blue side, then the white side. Made a huge difference. My old beat up grill actually shines now. I didn't take a pic, but it really did work well, and only took about 5 minutes. I'll probably take even more time with maybe some metal shiner, but this made a HUGE difference in only a few minutes.
