Lower Ball Joint installation
Seems like this was the weekend for brakes for lots of folks
![]() I am trying to put 72 spindles and disc brakes on my 68. We've ran into the problem of the ball joints not seating completely into the spindle and the cheapest solution seems to be to pick up some 1972 ball joints and use those. This seems to require grinding off the top four rivets holding the upper ball joint on, and then getting the bottom ball joint pressed out by someone. My question is will the new 1972 ball joints (From LMC likely) be able to be pressed into the 1968 A arms without an issue?

In my opinion, it works best to have the seat out so you have room to flop your body around while standing on your head. -ashx2 |
