PorterBuilt 2 piece drive shaft trailing arm crossmember question
I have an older version of the PorterBuilt TA crossmember for a 2-piece drive-shaft. I would like to install on my 68 (one piece driveshaft) so I can get some pinion angle adjustability. I currently have and ECE TA crossmember in there right now with no issues. I know Nate makes a different one for a one piece drive shaft, but I have this left over from another project and would like to use it if possible (plust there is a long wait for the one piece TA crossmember). I already spoke to Nate and he said it probably wouldn't work. Not doubting you Nate, , but I know someone has probably tried it, . Specs on the truck are 7" total rear drop (PB 3" drop tubular trailing arms and 4" dropped springs). I just want to make sure this won't work, before I sell it and order another one. TIA
