Lowering Spring Issues

I noticed on my 66 Short Step that with the 2" lowering springs when I turn sharp it feels like one tire is really digging in. In gravel or dirt you can see where one tire seemed to push dirt or gravel instead of riding on it. Is this something that happens with drop springs? I already have a '69 front end on the truck so spindles wouldn't be a problem (I hope), just trying to save a few bucks for other mods.
