Tripod Mirror Mounting Help Please
I am getting ready to mount my tripod mirrors back on the truck. I would appreciate mounting suggestions from those who have.... I am going to use the mirrors that came off the truck but am not sure if 1/4 SS bolts and nuts on the back side are the best way to go. That is what came off.
I did a search and found the "nutzert" suggestions but I'd have to use smaller bolts and don't know if that will hold the mirrors securely. I also looked in the factory assembly manual but couldn't find the mirror section. Should I use insulators, seals, silicon, that kind of thing to keep water and goo out of the truck? As the truck and I live in AZ I don't know how the rubbers will hold up in our heat. Thanks in advance for pointing out the obvious.
