Sad day for this '67 Owner

Some of you might remember my trying to buy a '67 a few years ago. It had sat for years. The owner finally got it cleaned up and got it going good. As I was hauling another load to our new house yesterday, I drove by (as I do often) his place to see if he was still messing with it. Well, see the pic below...

I had a big trailer and couldn't turn around for a pic of the drivers side but , just behind the drivers door there is a spot that a telephone pole or a tree would fit in perfect. Looks like the gas tank may have burst. I am not sure of the condition of the driver. Doesn't look good... I'll try to get more pics and some info.
