Two more dumb questions

One of my exhaust hangers came loose this morning so I just got under the truck to fix it. While I was under there I noticed that the leaf spring mount on the drivers side side of the rear axle was angled slightly down more than the passengers side. Is this normal? It looks like the mounts are welded on still and in the correct place. Could the axle tube have shifted?

My next question relates to a strong fuel smell when I park the truck in the garage. It has a new gas tank so I don't think that is the issue. When I open the gas cap I hear a whooshing sound so I think the cap is sealing good. Is there a "common" place that starts leaking fuel on these trucks? I will go through the whole fuel system if I need to but, it would be nice to have chance at finding it quick.

Thanks.
Brandon
