Steering Column Options for an AD

My 50 currently has a Chevette steering column in it. It has to go.

Next spring I might be able to pull another AD column out of a truck at my favorite bone yard - he's closed after the first snow fall (we just got 10" today). However, with the '72 wiring in my frankenbeast, I need to consider a more modern ignition switch. Could be on the column or in the dash.

Just curious what fits and looks decent in these trucks. I'm currently thinking either AD or 67-72 or a cross of both (newer C10 column with a AD era steering wheel).
