Took the Plunge

Hi guys, just thougth I'd throw up a quick thread to introduce my project. I've been shopping 67-72 Suburbans for about 6 months and finally took the plunge a couple weeks ago with this one...

I've got a MGB road racing car that I run with a vintage racing organization and figured I need a vintage tow rig to go with it. This one is a 1970 C10 2WD ex ambulance out of Texas with a later model 350 crate motor in it but otherwise is fairly stock. Future plans include disc brake upgrade, better wheel/tire combo, refresh of the springs/shocks, and then either an LS or DMAX swap. I'm working on the racecar right now trying to get it in to paint for the winter but will probably tear into the Suburban in a month or two and start a build thread.

I'm still reading the archives on this board and finding lots of good info. Any tips on disc brake swaps and powertrain swaps are more than welcome though.
