Hello from the snowy northeast

Been checking out the site and joined so I can learn more from the folks here. I've been in the market for a classic truck for a while.

Originally was leaning towards something early, 30s or 40s. Drove an advanced design (53 GMC) a while back after looking at those for a while. Been thinking that I may get more use out of something a bit newer.

Today I drove a 68 GMC 1/2 ton LWB. Pretty nice. It reminds me of the trucks my dad and grandfather drove when I was a kid in the early 70s. If I end up buying that, I'll post a pic. Otherwise, I'll poke around and learn. I'm pretty sure I don't have much knowledge to contribute yet. (If we're talking 1st gen Camaros on the other hand...)
