getting ready for crossmember swap

I think i finally have all the pieces to rebuild the"new" front crossmember for my 68.
I got a crossmember from an 85 burb. All new bushings and ball joints are sitting in the shop waiting. I'm still debating on powdercoat or paint??
I' m also wondering what kind of brake line issues I'm going to have when I put it in. If anyone has advise please chime in. I'm going to break it down tonight,
guess i need to decide on paint or powdercoat soon.
