4x4 Auto Linkage Questions?

Still in the midst of swapping my sm465/np205 to 350TH/np205. One of the things I've run into is my '71 4x4 1/2 ton frame (original stick shift remember) does not seem to have mounting holes for the linkage mounting. Have one hole for the lower hole in the frame mount "C" bracket but nothing for the second bolt to mount thru. Was there a differance in the frames from the factory as in not all frames received multiple holes for differant appications, ie. stick/4x4 verses auto/4x4? After looking at it, seems as if I need to drill a second hole thru the cab support frame side which just does sound right. Have loosely assembled the linkage at the 350TH and after holding the frame side bracket in the "assumed" correct postion the trans seems to shift correctly. Would someone be kind enough to post pics of factory mounted 4x4 auto shift linkage for a '71 4x4? Measurements for hole location would be great help.
