Removing glass with the stainless trim?

I see small signs of rust around the windshield and the rear window, so I want to remove them and sandblast the rust away.
I've pulled a rear window myself out of my 72 I had years ago and it was pretty easy. But the window didn't have the stainless trim around it. The trim is in very good condition and I don't want to damage it or bend it in any way.
Any tips on removing this without having a glass guy come to the house?

Same thing with the windshield, but I've never pulled one out before. Is it as simple as removing the stainless trim, and it pops out just like the rear window? I'm guessing the previous owner replaced the windshield recently, there are no pits or anything in it, it looks new.

Thanks for any help

Mark
