remove core support and leave fenders on?

Guys

Im in the process of swapping motors and found the passenger side inner fender and a bit of the core support are rusted through.

Ive got everything off of the front of the truck and the core support is free to move. But, the outer fenders keep me from removing the core support.

It looks as if i might be able to pull the passenger side inner fender (rotten anyway) and then have enough room to rock the core support back on the passenger side and be able to pull the core support out.

Do you think i could get away with leaving the outer fenders on and remove inner fender and then core support? Or do the outer fenders need to come off?

oh... its a 71 C10
thanks guys!
jeff
