Traction...or the lack of it...

Hey guys. I recently did an Ls1/700R4 swap in my 68 C10. This past Friday, I finally got the 4.11 gears/Eaton LSD installed. First off, the lower gearing made a HUGE difference compared to the 3.07 gears. The problem now is minimal traction. Even with the big 275/55/17's, I can't get any bite.

My question is what can be done to gain traction? I've been looking at either the Hotchkis Anti Squat kit http://www.hotchkis.net/c10_truck_re...et_system.html and the trailing arm x-member from Porterbuilt. http://porterbuiltstreetrods.com/cat...m-crossmember/

Both of these have different mounting positions to raise the instant center. Has anyone used these? Have you used something else?
