New Dash, problems...

I bought this dash new in the box from another board member.

I finally got it installed and so far I have run into a few quirks that I am sure I am just doing something wrong.

-The temp gauge isnt reading anything at all (Wondering if the sending unit isnt working or possibly the sending unit is the wrong one to make the gauge work????)
-No lights in the dash, turn signals work, but no illumination lights (Maybe bad headlight switch????)

Anyone got any ideas on this????
