Sliding window latches

I see that there is a sliding window latch for sale on ebay for 125$ Which I feel is pretty pricey. My suburban is a hotrod/driver project and not a restoration project so I do not have to have stock latches
Has anyone come up with a way to latch the sliding wondows other than stock latches? Mine was a three seat model and I plan to change the rear set to one piece fixed glass, but I would like to keep the middle sliding windows. I searched the forum and did not fine any ideas.
