Spare tire size on stock set up 3/4 ton
I do not have a spare and none of the spare tire parts under my 1970 2 wheel drive 3/4 ton long bed. I am planning to purchase everything and would like to know what size tire i can run that's going to fit in the stock set up. I am now running 245 75 16 all terrain, they seam way to big. Since i have to buy an 8 lug tire and wheel, can i ask, can i buy a latter year from the junkyard that will fit my truck? Are all 8 lug Chevy 8 x 6.5?
