Under dash clutch pedal assy.
Im changing over from auto to manual, I got one clutch pedal assy with the parts stash when I bought the truck, plus I bought another one (to get the springs etc.)
My question is this--There is a difference in the assys, one has a large spring tower on the top of it while the other one does not have this "tower". So, my question is---whats the difference in applications? which is the right one for a 68? I have the factoy assembly manual, with the thousand or so diagrams. In the manual--(about 25% of the way from the front--since there are no page number or ref. numbers in the book), anyway there are two pages showing the two diff. brackets, there are some number which Im sure refer somehow to model number of the trucks---but I havent ben able to decipher which I should use. Now to my second question-----does anyone have pics showing their pedal assys? or would anyone kow how to tell me to decipher "the code" in the book?? I just looked at the assembly book again---One pedal assy is referenced as CA100-200-300, the other assy is referenced as a CA400-500-600. still havent figured out the difference i numbers.
