biohazardbill Registered User Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Forsyth, Ga Posts: 1,012	Tow Truck What chassis would have been used for a tow truck. I found a working Ferd Towtruck and am not a big Ferd fan so thought about parting it out and keeping the bed etc to transfer to a chevy chassis. I know it would have been a 3/4 or 1 ton but the wheel base seems awfully short.
