My first "car" was a '65 C10 pickup. It had a 327 w/ 3 on the tree. I don't recall a lot of thought going into the purchase- I was 14. Over time the stylng kinda grew on me. Now I love them partly because they are unusual. Look at the entire Chevrolet lineup for the early 60's and there's not an ugly one in the bunch. An era when Bill Mitchell was in charge of GM Styling.
