Question D-Max in the 67

So a future plan....... my truck is a 3/4 ton. I wanna put a Duramax in it. I'm guessing I'm going to have to box my frame but now the question is will the front suspension hold the weight of the motor? Anyone with out there that has done the same? Would I have to up grade my suspension to a 1 ton? Anything helps thanks.
