Halloween at Glamis Dunes
I just went to Glamis for the first time this weekend and had a blast. The ol' Suburban tore it up even though it weighs way too much, 13 psi in the tires, and the front and rear lockers helped ALOT. If anyone on the board was there, maybe you saw me attempt Oldsmobile hill in the lead sled. I tried 6 times, and every time came up to 100 feet from the top. At the bottom though, I hit the whoops pretty hard and bottomed out ALOT, eventually bending my rear axle. Stupid me didn't put the axle trusses back on after rear-gearing cause I didn't have time. Hint: don't jump your stuff if it weighs this much. BTW, I'm trussing the axle over and under, and going back Thanksgiving weekend for revenge, so let me know if you're gonna be there. I'm gonna post pics later after I resize them.
