straight six help!!!

well a few months ago the motor(250) in my 72 gmc went south two bad pistons and a cracked head! block is ok and now for my next few ? can i use a marine 250 also whats the factory hp rating my stock 72 250 the boat motor i found is 165hp its rebuilt and are the heads the same can i just bolt on my exaust and intake ? or should i just go with a 350 i drive alot of highway thanks for any advice ill get some pics up
