Any pics of the "drip" rail removed?

I am looking into getting my truck painted and in the process of removing all the bumpers, cowl, etc...

I don't want to shave the door handles or the side markers but looking into having the radio antenna shaved and the drip rail removed to make it more sleek.

Anyone have any pics of their antennas shaved or the drip rail removed?

Any reason you wouldn't remove the rail? Just hoping they would be able to smooth it out enough and never even notice it isn't there anymore.

Thanks!
