Had an idea for a bench seat cover
I don't like vinyl for my climate. Too hot in the summer, and cold in the winter here. As for fabric, it seems like at the end of the day you're basically left with SaddleBlanket, but I'm not crazy about the look, and don't like the gritty feel they get after trapping dust and dirt.
I've had leather on multiple vehicles, and love it. I was thinking I could buy a brown weathered cow hide or two, and have a seat cover place wrap my seat. My '69 has the one year only dark navy blue interior, so I was thinking it might look pretty neat. How many hides do you think it would take? One, two, or more? Has anybody here tried something like this? Here's a sample I'm thinking of ![]() My interior ![]() ![]() Posted via Mobile Device |
