17" Dually Wheels (Low1ton, Scoti, Lowlife99, GCncsuHD)
So the new 20" dually wheels being released by Eagle Alloys got me hot n bothered enough to where I was just about to pull the trigger on a set, but I *just can't* get over not having a suitable load rated tire. At the very least, an LT.
S I got to thinking about maybe just running a set of the 17" wheels. At least I can them run an LT, if not a full on "D" or "E" rated tire (although, I haven't found a 17" tire w/a 29" diameter in either rating yet). Three questions: 1. What is everyone running on the inside? I thought I read somewhere that a 17" Dodge steelie will work. 2. What tire size is popular in this application? 3. Anyone have any pics of a dropped square dually on 17's? |
