Steering Column swap help!!!

I have a 71 c10 dark green inflation fighter. Originally 307 with 3spd on column.
So someone before me has put in a 305 with a TH350 trans. They added a floor shifter and removed the lever on the column. I'm good with the auto but hate the floor shifter. So I found an auto non tilt column off eBay.

So today I go to swap. But apparently the column isn't from this truck as it is sea foam green in places. And the shaft seems to be one piece from the column to the rag joint at the manual steering box.

Is this normal?

So is there an intermediate shaft?

I notice in LMC catalog that they offer an intermediate shaft for putting their tilt column in a 67-68.

Is this what this column is from?
