power window backward operation???

I'm putting my 87' chevy back together after a restoration and am having a hard time getting the windows to work correctly. All the wiring is from an 89' Suburban. I replaced both window motors. Both windows work from the driver side double panel switch, however, the passenger side goes down when you push the switch up and it goes up when you push the switch down. Also, I have tried a couple of different switches on the passenger side and can't get it to operate at all from the passenger side.

I'm terrible with electrical work, however, these plugs and switches are all plug and play so I'm not sure where I could have messed up. Anyone have any ideas?
