The crossmembers that come with kit are pre-drilled for the tank mounts. But regular nuts and bolts are tough to get to, so we use a 'clip-nut' for the tank mounts. This way the tank can be pulled out easily, even with the bed on.
Speaking of the bed, the kit comes with all new bed mounts for the raised floor - on a metal beds. So, for a raised wood bed, the front crossmember goes up with the wood, and a 4" riser is needed. the other mounts are standard.
Finally, an overall shot. It has been on this lift for a while now waiting for wheels/tires, and for me to finish it up. If the bed-cab gap looks a little tighter than normal, it is. The new rail kit moves the bed forward 1/2" to clean things up a bit. This also puts the tire in the miidle of the wheel opening.
