Need advice and pointers 71 c20

Got a 71 C20 with an inline 6 4 speed w granny on the floor. Engine runs great most of the time UNLESS it's cold then it takes me about 4-8 cranks to get it going. The rest of the day she will run fine but its the initial cold start I am having issues with. Any one got some pointers to help the engines fire up quickly, (better carb? less choke/more choke?) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also looking for a grill for the front as mine is beat up pretty bad. Could buy a new one but thought I would throw that out there incase one of you have one in descent shape.. Thanks guys.
