Chevy Van spindles G10/G20 for disk conversion?

Hello All

A friend of mine stopped by the junk yard the other day and got to talking to one the guys there. They checked the compatibility books and came across the possibility that a chevy van spindle would work on our trucks for a possible disc brake conversion. Anyone know if this is possible? has anyone done it and know what exactly needs to be used for the conversion (tie rod ends, ball joints)?

G10's used a 5x4 3/4 while g20's used both 6, and 5x5.5, and even a 5x5 according to wikipedia.

Thoughts?
