6 cyl Alternator Swap Questions
So I researched until my eyes bled using the forum search function. I know I probably could research Google but frankly I'm tired so I'll just ask.
I found that my 250 alternator has 12 and 6 o'clock mounting points and the connector is at 3 o'clock. I also need a V belt pulley. I am going to be upgrading the truck with modern amenities like headlight relays, power windows, stereo...so on. I figure 100amps is mininmum for what I need. I found an alternator on Summit Racing.. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tff-7127-100 The price seems right but I think I might be buying a Chinese product again. Anyone have experience with Tuff Stuff? Anyone have a better option within my parameters?
