71 gmc 1/2 ton bed on 70 chevy 3/4 ton

Hi All,

I have a 1970 chevy 4X4, 3/4 ton pickup. My bed is hammered. I found a good deal on a 1971 gmc, 1/2, 2-wheel drive. Will the bed off the 71 bolt onto my 1970 3/4 ton? Are the frames the same from a 1/2 ton to a 3/4 ton? The beds look the same except for the chrome piece along the bottom.

I know I could probably measure the distance between the bolt holes but my truck is full of lumber right now and there is still snow on the ground here. Thanks for any help!
