My California DMV experience

Well I have made it a habit before I start a project that I take care of the DMV transfer. I took a gamble on my new 1976 short bed because it had some back fees on it. It is a complete and straight truck. I went in and waited in line and when I spoke to the lady behing the counter I asked if she could check the history on the title I had and if DMV could wave some of the fees. Sure enough after a few minutes and a conversation with the supervisor my fees were reduced by 66%! WOW good gamble. Any way I thought I would post this and let people know that sometimes it never hurts to just ask.

Thanks,

Matt
