A few questions about static drops.
Right now my truck is dropped pretty low. the only problem is i cant remember how low it is. is there a way to measure how low ive dropped? also. i think i have drop spindles and i know i have drop springs in the front and drop springs in the rear. as far as i can remember i dropped it 5 in the rear and a total of 4.5 in the front, is there anything else i need for a correct drop? my carrier bearing breaks constantly so i know i need a one piece driveshaft or a slip yolk or something. will an adjustable tracking arm fix this too? ive read about the shock relocation kits, will this help? the main problem is in the front. i cant remember off the top of my head what tires in running, but there is maybe and inch and of clearance between the bump stops and i still have a large gap in between the fender and the tire. I have larger tires in the rear, and that looks pretty good, but when i see other pictures of dropped trucks, they always look lower than mine. as far as i know i have 2.5 inch drop spindles in the front with 2 inch drop springs, but i didnt buy the parts or install them ( i installed the drop springs, but not the spindles.) the truck is also in storage right now for the winter and i have not been able to confirm if they are in fact drop spindles. i will check to make sure soon though. any advice?
