Polished my side mouldings

thought some of you may like to see this. I have a terrible time just leaving things alone, so here it is. The toughest part was removing the anodizing. I tried all the tricks on youtube, The drain cleaner, sanding, all kinds of strippers. My buddy has a chrome shop, he tried stripping it in his acid tank, Nothing. So, I bead blasted it in my harbor freight blast cabinet. Many parts where way too long and i had to leave the door open with dust flying everywhere. Next, I tapped out all the dents. I intentionaly tapped them too high and the sanded them with a DA and 80 grit. Then I sanded them by hand with 500 grit and started buffing with a cheap stiched buffing wheel and tripoli compound, then switched to a loose buffing wheel and the white compound. the pics don't really show it well, but, it looks almost like chrome.
