5 lug and 8 lug rotors

I have a 1966 C10 under construction that has later 5 on 5 disc brake rotors on the front. Does anyone know if 8 lug rotors are a direct bolton? If so, what years? If this is an easy bolton, and if I can find a late model 14 bolt rear with 8 lugs and disc brakes that is the correct width, I will make the swap. I have spotted a set of factory alloy wheels with 8 lugs that would look good on the C10. I'm not worried about cutting and welding rear end brackets, or setting the pinion angle. Anyone have experience with such a swap?
