Found my build sheet, and pieced together some cool history on my truck
At our forum get together a couple weeks ago, Prich told me about the build sheet that came on each truck. He and I looked under my seat, but couldn't find anything. Well, guess what? Today I had to slide my seat forward so I could install my factory jack, and there it was in excellent condition, taped to the gas tank.
Here's the build sheet, and then below I'll give you a bit more insight First off, my truck and I share some history. We were both born in California, and then grew up in the Salt Lake area. It was sold from an old dealership that is no longer there, called Streator Chevrolet Here are some historical photos of the dealership And, here's what's come of the dealership today...a parking lot. I think I'll do it a little justice, and update this thread with pics of my truck in that same spot. Tim, or anyone else, I'd appreciate any other input you can tell me, based off the build sheet.
