CPP Tie rod conversion ??

So, Before I take the ball studs out of my steering arms...
CPP says you can put the tie rod ends in their kit in from either the top or the bottom.

Is there an existing taper in the steering arm that matches the supplied tie rod, or is CPP just not mentioning that I'll need a reamer, or what?

Anyone used this kit that can verify fitment / taper or what?
