Music,
Mine is the offset. I looked at yours and mine is definately not the same. It goes over the center of the tail shaft more and it appears more towards the front of the tranny. It's exactly like the one at the top of the Classic Truck article. I did buy this 440 today, $425 incl shipping to Fresno. I ll have my trans guy go through it when it gets here even though the guy i bought it from said it all lookec and worked fine. Do you still have some parts? I d like to talk some business if you do.

On the bright side, no new motor stanchions and no moving brake lines or clutch.
