I went through this 10 years ago when I painted my 72 with a flattened 2 stage satin black. I ended up shooting the entire truck 4 different times before I was satisfied with the end result. The key is the proper amount of overlap, and keeping that gun a perfect 90 degrees to the surface you are spraying. Thanks for the complement.It has been a long road just getting to this point. Today I installed my carpet, gas tank and weather strips. It cam out good except one wrinkle that I didn't have enough time to get out. Maybe tomorrow I can do it. Next is the seat. I think I will order it on the 15th.
