Different steering wheel
After replacing the front brakes and the steering box, I wanted to get a new (different) steering wheel. I was looking for a smaller diameter as well as something that will look good in the interior.
I found a 15" 69 Chevelle steering wheel on CL for $45. Installed it in place of the 17" stock unit using the same hardware that the truck used. I now have 15" on it that I think looks good. It matches the color of the new dash pad I have and carpet. The truck seems more positive feeling on the road as well. I think I like it. I'll post more pics when (if) I get the carpet and dash in. Your opinions are welcome. Vince
