a little bow-tie fun

decided to check out CL this afternoon to see if anything I needed for my truck was around... Low and behold a guy had just posted a bow-tie and some CST/10 badges and some 8-350 badges, all looked good but the bow-tie, which is what I really wanted... a good friend of mine has a c20 with a 350 so I figured I could get the 350 badges for him if he wants them... not sure what to do with the CST?10 badges yet thought as I have mu C/10 badges still..

Anyway I know what I wanted to do was make myself a wooden bow-tie... I did this on my 01 tracker and I really like it. So....

Here was my first try. A little locally grown and salvaged Rosewood... and the router digs in when doing the chamfer. Ooh well guess ill have to take another stab at it tomorrow...

What do y'all think, worth a second take? you cant really see in the pic but their is a ding from the router in the top of the bow-tie so the chamfer is toast... this the need for a second attempt.
