MCGAUGHYS DISC BRAKE KIT -Alignment Issue

i just took my 70 stepside down to have the front end aligned after installing a Disc conversion kit I bought from GMCPauls. Mechanic said he couldn't complete the job because he couldn't get the Camber correct- he said it calls for .5 degrees and best he could get was 1.9 degrees- Anyone have this issue come up before or heard of it happening? All front end pieces were replaced- tie rod ends, spindles (with the kit) ball joints and upper and lower control arms- It'd drivable but I expect my tires will not last long with front end set up like it is...ideas?
